Bike & Walk
The Flint River Trail system is a network of approximately 27 miles of nonmotorized multipurpose paved trails along the river and through parks and neighborhoods across Genesee County. The trail system was created in the early 1980s, but continual extensions and improvements continue through today.
Whether you're looking to bike, run, or walk, the Flint River Trail offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our incredible river. Here are a few great resources to plan your trip:
- From 2016, our
Flint River Trail Map does not include trail extensions at Chevy Commons or north of Stepping Stone Falls.
- MI Trails Magazine featured the Flint River Trail system in 2020.
