Detailed Directions
From Flint: I-75 north to Birch Run exit. Go west on Birch Run Road to Morseville Road. Turn north (right) on Morseville Road (you will pass Pine Run Creek just after you turn onto Morseville). Continue north past a large farmhouse (it sits by itself next to a ditched stream on the left side of the road). Next you will come to a T-intersection where Morseville Road continues to the left and Canada Road goes to the right (maps say Verne Road, but sign says Canada). Continue to the left on Morseville Road to the stream.
Alternate: Take E. Birch Run Road west to Marshall Road (1 mile east of Morseville Road) and turn north (right). Take Marshall Road 2 miles north (you will pass 2 streams) to E. Rathbun Road and turn west (left). Go west approximately 1.5 miles to Morseville Road and turn south (left) to the bridge over the stream - about 500 feet.
The stream flows from southeast, so upstream side is on the east side of the road. Work there from either bank.
