US-23 South to Thompson Road exit (after Grand Blanc Road, but before Fenton area).  Take Thompson Road to the right/west go to Linden Road.  Turn Left/South on Linden Road.  Take Linden Road to Downtown Linden (speed limit in city is 25mph).  You will pass the railroad tracks before entering Linden and Linden Road becomes “ Bridge Street”.   At traffic light (downtown Linden) turn right/west on Broad Street (aka Silver Lake Road) and head towards downtown Argentine.  Continue on Silver Lake Road through Argentine to Shiawassee Road (north side of road), turn right and continue to the end of the road.

Walk path to river.  River can be deep if lots of rain previously. 

Alternate Directions:

(From South of Fenton) US-23 to Owen Road exit, turn left/west to Linden Road.  Take Linden Road into downtown Linden (35mph after County Parks, then 25mph in downtown).  At Linden’s Downtown traffic light turn left/west on Broad Street (aka Silver Lake Road).  Continue on Silver Lake Road through Argentine to Shiawassee Road (north side of road), turn right and continue to the end of the road.
