Alternate Route: Take I-69 east to M-24. Go north (left) on M-24 through the City of Lapeer all the way to Castle Road and turn east (right). Take Castle Road to Silverwood Road and turn north (left). (WATCH OUT -- Silverwood cross the Flint River and this is not where you will monitor! Keep going!!). Take Silverwood Road to Peck Road and turn east (right) - sign to the left will say Dodds Road. Follow Peck Road to Indian Creek, less than 1 mile east of Silverwood Road. Words etched into the cement of the bridge say "Road Comm Nov 19 1940 Braver".
